So you don't golf, but you do enjoy a good meal? Bring your appetite and come out to the first annual Christian Academy of the Bluegrass Golf Scramble and Silent Auction to support a good cause and feast on some barbecue!

You are invited to join us for a barbecue lunch this Saturday, September 17th, from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served around 1:00 p.m. when the golf scramble participants finish up. While you wait and after you eat there will be many great items in our Silent Auction to bid on. We have a few of them listed below. Come join us for food, fellowship and philanthropy!

Meals are $15/person and will benefit Christian Academy of the Bluegrass.

HOW MUCH: $70 per player or $250/team
COMPETITIONS: Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt competitions among other games.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Silent Auction

PURPOSE:

Christian Academy of the Bluegrass is a Church of Christ based academic organization, striving to provide young people the opportunity to grow in their faith daily, while receiving a quality education in a Christian environment.

All proceeds from the event will go towards start-up cost of the school, supplies, teachers' salaries, or scholarships for students who qualify for the need for assistance and admission.

Wishing Well

Wishing Well is a fundraising effort Christian Academy of the Bluegrass has set up to help us gather the supplies we will need during the school year.

In our monthly newsletter, under the title of "Wishing Well," we list necessary supplies which can be donated to the school. Items on this list are determined by the director and curriculum chair based upon the projected needs of the school. The list can also be found on this website, down the right side of each page and will be updated at the first of each month.

There is a currently a donation bin in the lobby of the North Lexington Church of Christ building, if you are in the area and wish to drop off donations during office hours. Otherwise you can contact Stacy Murphy at (859) 285-9283 or email her at stacy.murphy@cabluegrass.org about dropping off donations.

Let us know if you would like a bin to use for gathering any donations. We are happy to provide one for your congregation or office and can work out a monthly pick up time for collecting items.

Please don’t forget about our yard sale, June 3 & 4, 2016. We have been collecting items from people and hope to have a good sale to benefit the academy. If you have things you would like to contribute to this sale, it's not too late, Call 859-285-9283 to set up a time to drop off items.

Thursday is the last day we will be taking donations! Thank you to those who have already donated for this event.

The yard sale will be held at 549 Parkside Drive, Lexington Kentucky 40505 from 8am - 5pm. Stop by both days and show your support to CAB. Your donations and financial support are a true treasure to the children who will benefit from this school!
